Sex Offender and Compliance Enforcement in Maryland

The SOCEM Program is under the authority of the Governor’s Office of Crime Control & Prevention (GOCCP). Program funds provide resources to the twenty-four (24) designated Maryland law enforcement agencies that are responsible for the registration and compliance enforcement of sexual offenders that reside in the jurisdiction on the Maryland Sex Offender Registry (SOR).
