Notices of Funding Available (NOFAs)

GOCCP is currently accepting grant applications for the below programs:

Domestic Violence Unit Program (DVUP)- FY 2015

Eligibility: Grant Funds requested through this application are offered to local law enforcement agencies in compliance with the District and Circuit Court guidelines for service and entry of ex parte and protective orders. Applicants must be in the METERS/NCIC network (through Maryland State Police) to qualify for DVUP funding.

Deadline: Electronic applications are due no later than 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 17, 2014. Hardcopies (with original signatures in blue ink) must be received by GOCCP no later than 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 24, 2014.

Victim Assistance Formula Grant Program (VOCA) - 2014

Eligibility: The following entities in Maryland, which provide direct services to crime victims, are eligible to submit no more than two (2) applications for VOCA funding:
• State Government Agencies
• Local Government Agencies
• Non-Profit, Non-Governmental Victim Services Programs including Faith-Based and Community Organizations

Deadline: The online application must be submitted no later than 3:00 PM on May 6, 2014.  The hard copy application must be submitted to GOCCP no later than 3:00 PM on May 13, 2014.

Children's Justice Act Grant (CJAC) - FY 2015

Eligibility: State and local units of government, non-profit organizations, and faith-based organizations.

Deadline: Electronic Application must be received by 3:00 pm, May 21, 2014 and hard copies (with original signature) must be received in our office by 3:00 pm, May 28, 2014.

Byrne - Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Program - 2014

Eligibility: The following entities in Maryland are eligible to submit no more than one application for BJAG Funding:
State Government Agencies
Local Government Agencies
Non-Profit, Non-Governmental Victim Services Programs including Faith-Based and Community Organizations
Institutes of higher learning

Deadline: Electronic Application must be received by 3:00 pm, June 4, 2014 and hard copies (with an original signature) must be received in our office by 3:00 pm, June 11, 2014.

Law Enforcement Training Scholarship Program (LETS)

Eligibility: GOCCP is making funding available to local law enforcement personnel, including crime lab staff, for training. An agency's Total Fiscal Year LETS requests cannot exceed $5,000. Preference will be given to agencies that have not received LETS funding within the last six months. Future applications will continue to be accepted and processed on an on-going basis, subject to funding availability.
